The rooms are clean and modern, with a fantastic waterfall shower in the bathroom, and the location is great, being just a short walk away from both central Edinburgh and the beautiful wooded valley on the outskirts.

Beautiful and spotless place. Coffee, croissants, toast, cereal, and fresh fruit for breakfast. Delightfully helpful staff, perfect location in the middle of the city. Based close enough to the wooded valley.

It has great and stunning location on the valley and there's free parking. Also it is adjacent to an Indian restaurant, the outskirts of Edinburgh and pubs.

We had an excellent stay attending a nearby wedding. David, the host, was superb and nothing was a problem as we arrived before check-in to get ready. The house was amazing, along with the spacious gold and silver rooms, both with ensuite facilities. The decor was lovely throughout, and the turn-down service was a nice touch. Great variety for breakfast and a spacious kitchen area. First-class service and I would definitely recommend to family and friends. Well done David, and thank you for your hospitality.

We had a fantastic experience during our New Year stay. the owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. the room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and plenty of sockets for charging our devices. we were delighted to find tea making facilities in the room, as well as a phone/iPad stand provided for our convenience. The location was also great, with easy access to key attractions in the area. the hospitality, room amenities, and convenient location were definitely the best aspects of our stay.

Although our stay was overall enjoyable, there were a couple of small drawbacks. the bathroom could have benefited from a shelf or toothbrush holder for storing toiletries.

I recently stayed at a lovely lodge tucked away in a stunning location with beautiful views. The hosts, David and Mark, were incredibly accommodating and made my stay unforgettable. The room I stayed in, the Gold room, was spacious and immaculate, with a comfortable bed and modern decor. I was pleasantly surprised to find a DIY continental breakfast provided, which was a nice touch. The personal touches, such as the photographs taken by David displayed on the walls, added to the overall charm of the lodge. I couldn't find a single thing to complain about and will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommended!
